In an exciting turn of events, defensive lineman Trajen Odom has officially made his commitment to the University of Arkansas after entering the NCAA Transfer Portal. After redshirting during his true freshman year at Ohio State, he now has four full years of eligibility left to play in Fayetteville.
Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 295 pounds, Odom participated in only two games for the Ohio State Buckeyes during the 2025 season following his arrival as an early enrollee in January. He joined the Buckeyes as a highly regarded three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting cycle, hailing from Weddington, North Carolina. According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, he was positioned as the 13th best player in North Carolina, the 52nd defensive lineman nationally, and ranked 502nd overall among recruits nationwide.

Before his time at Memphis, Williams was recognized as a three-star prospect and the 784th overall recruit in the 2025 class, ranked as the 63rd safety nationally and the 91st player from Georgia, coming from Marietta, Georgia.
Williams is not alone in this wave of new talent; Chris Marshall, a receiver from Boise State, has also committed to Arkansas on the same day, marking his transition to his third school in the SEC by 2026.
